About you and the role
As a Business Analyst in Customer Solutions, you will be responsible for translating business requirements gathered from internal stakeholders into a prioritized backlog for the development team, ensuring the evolution of digital touchpoints and the improvement of customer satisfaction. Complex ideas from stakeholders are drawn out and distilled into achievable goals. Your responsibility includes maximizing the value of the development team's work while being involved in every aspect of the development process, from discovery to delivery. Collaboration with designers, engineers, and stakeholders is essential to ship meaningful and innovative solutions. Key Objectives
  • Manage project requirements and provide status updates to Engagement Manager and key project stakeholders
  • Contribute to the evolving Liferay's customer centricity
  • Ability to independently drive requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders
  • Own team backlog and implementation
  • Collaborate with Design and Engineering teams to refine stories and solidify requirements
  • Drive iteration goals and iteration content via prioritized stories
  • Provide story details, set priorities, and approve the final sprint plan for each iteration
  • Perform feature reviews to ensure deliverables meet requirements and are fit for purpose
  • Demonstrate completed stories or feature increments to stakeholders
  • Participate in team demos and retrospectives

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of software experience in either a development or Business Analyst role
  • Excellent prioritization, organization, and time management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate complex business requirement concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences
  • Knowledge and experience in communicating business requirements with distributed cross-functional teams
  • Ability to speak and write English fluently
  • Located near our company HQ in Diamond Bar, CA
