Liferay is on the hunt for a rockstar Sales Engineer in Singapore to bring cutting-edge technology to life for companies across the region! You'll be the ultimate tech-business matchmaker, diving deep into opportunities in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Think creating jaw-dropping demos, crafting smart solution proposals, and collaborating on strategies that make an impact. What you'll do:
- Build Killer Demos: Create jaw-dropping demos that showcase the power of Liferay's platform.
- Craft Compelling Proposals: Develop persuasive proposals that address client pain points and highlight the value of our solutions.
- Become a Tech Evangelist: Share your passion for Liferay technology with potential customers and partners.
- Collaborate with the Best: Work closely with our talented sales team to drive deals and exceed targets.
- Learn and Grow: Continuously develop your technical skills and sales expertise through ongoing training and mentorship.
- Collaborate with the sales team to formulate and execute strategies that exceed revenue targets, while participating in conferences and roadshows to promote Liferay.
- Travel 25-40% for on-site engagements with prospects, customers and partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or equivalent level of demonstrated experience
- 8+ years designing/implementation/consulting experience with web based applications and/or Digital Experience Platforms/CMS
- Experience presenting to both large and small audiences (Executives, IT Management, and developers)
- Experience with business requirements gathering, technical specifications, architecture diagrams, development, testing, and deployment.
- Excellent English skills (reading, writing and speaking). Local ASEAN languages such as Malay, Indonesian, Tamil or Mandarin are an additional advantage!
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years working experience as a Sales Engineer in a software vendor company
- Excellent prioritization, organization, and time management skills; ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills with ability to confidently lead technical and/or business discussions
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
