About You and this Role
The Finance Intern will report to the Global Accounts Administrative Project Manager in Recife and will work closely with the North America team and/or the EMEA team to execute administrative accounting tasks. Key Objectives
- Accounts Receivable (AR) - Issue sales invoices, process customer payments, and connect with customers and work closely with Sales/Sales Operations to facilitate timely collections.
- Account Payable (AP) - Process vendor invoices, vendor payments, and log entries in the accounting system. Assist the team with managing cash flows.
- Local sales/use/VAT tax filings.
- Ad hoc administrative support (eg., AP/AR reports, sales/use tax filings, manage customers' vendor/payment portals).
- Maintain Finance Confluence page.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in progress (Business Administration, Accounting or related fields)
- Detail orientation and excellent organizational skills
- Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong team player who is very comfortable working as part of a team and working with professionals in different locations
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Advanced in English required
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel.
- Availability to work as an intern for 02 years
- Availability to work for 6 hours a day
