Since March 2020, our Zoomers have worked remotely and reported an overall better work-life balance with more time for family and personal wellness. At the end of 2021, LegalZoom made the official commitment to being a remote-first company. Remote-first means that there is no expectation that Zoomers come into an office for a fixed number of days outside of those employees identified as essential onsite workers. While we remain a remote-first culture, our local offices have evolved as collaboration spaces for Zoomers to meet and engage in person.

This position will be remote.


As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will help drive LegalZoom’s growth by shaping product vision and consumer perception across our business product portfolio. You will also contribute to the optimization our product experiences, focusing on cultivating the long-term relationship we form with our customers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, launch, and grow our services and customer base. You are creative, strategic, analytical, and detail-oriented with strong communication, relationship building and project management skills. As an accomplished product marketer, you have experience partnering with product managers and large cross-functional teams to bring products/services to life. You pride yourself in thinking like our consumers and business partners, and you have a track record for delivering insights-driven marketing plans that produce excellent business results. You have experience mentoring more junior members on the team and work collaboratively across all areas of the organization.

You will

  • Establish positioning, packaging and pricing for our business portfolio of products and brief in creatives to support campaign planning needs
  • Own the end-to-end business customer journey, delivering a delightful experience that ensures a long-term relationship with LegalZoom
  • Understand the competitive landscape – be an expert on our competition and how they position themselves 
  • Monitor trends and changing consumer needs to develop actions plans for your business segments
  • Influence product strategy, testing, research and content roadmaps to optimize our position
  • Spearhead market research projects for your portfolio to better understand the market and gather intelligence to help inform product decisions and messaging
  • Drive go-to-market strategies, launches, and campaigns for your portfolio
  • Create and optimize messaging that will resonate with prospective customers
  • Develop and maintain sales collateral to support sales teams 
  • Monitor business health and recommend product opportunities and contingency plans
  • Work with Marketing, Product Management, UX/Creative, Sales, Customer Care, PR, Engineering, Legal, Business Development to ensure a great customer experience

You have

  • 8+ years of marketing experience, with at least 4 years specifically in Product Marketing
  • Experience driving nationwide campaigns, communications and go-to-market initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), comfortable presenting to executives and partners
  • Proven track record collaborating with product managers and sales teams
  • Experience influencing product strategy, design and development timelines and processes
  • Ability to apply consumer insights, research and testing to drive world-class marketing strategy
  • Success working with product, creative, sales, legal, finance, operations, customer service and quality assurance teams
  • Remote Employees should confirm that the internet service available has adequate bandwidth to support all work processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or higher degree preferred 


LegalZoom is a remote-first company and the national range for this role is $100,800 - $216,000. Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs. In addition, an annual bonus, incentive bonus and/or restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package. For onsite roles or roles that require periodic onsite visits, LegalZoom requires all employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 before starting work, unless precluded from doing so by applicable law. The CDC currently defines “fully vaccinated” as two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson.
