Who We’re Looking For:

 

As the Legal Counsel for EMEA/APAC, your primary role will be to support the Associate General Counsel by providing essential legal services. You will handle a high volume of contract reviews while conducting thorough legal research. Your keen eye for detail will be crucial in maintaining and organising important legal documents. You will also play a key role in ensuring the company's compliance with laws and regulations. Your ability to identify potential risks will be invaluable in protecting the company's interests. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to meet their legal needs. Your contribution will extend to preparing training materials on contract management and legal compliance topics. Lastly, you will prepare comprehensive reports on legal and compliance activities.

 

About the Role:

 

  • Review, draft, and negotiate routine contracts with customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Conduct legal research on various topics related to contract law, regulatory compliance, and other legal matters.
  • Maintain and organise legal documents, including contracts, corporate records, and compliance documentation.
  • Assist in ensuring the company’s compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide support in managing corporate governance matters.
  • Identify potential legal risks in contracts and business initiatives.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to support their legal needs.
  • Assist in preparing training materials and presentations on contract management and legal compliance topics.
  • Prepare reports on legal and compliance activities.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • University Degree in Law from an accredited law school.
  • License to practice law in one or more European jurisdictions.
  • Minimum of 4-7 years of legal experience in a corporate environment.
  • Knowledge of European and international contract law.
  • Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently with supervision available as needed.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new legal challenges.
