Who We’re Looking For:

As a key member of the OB team, the Senior Medical Director will be accountable for building, leading and overseeing the professional education program, managing medical advisory boards, providing customer-focused clinical consulting to the business unit in conformance with product labeling and company policies and procedures. The Senior Medical Director also provides medical expertise to the clinical research and regulatory teams regarding clinical data development, risk management, complaint review and product safety related activities. 

 

About the Role:

  • Contribute to developing and implementing the overall business strategy for the GBU.
  • Lead and/or partner on collaborative projects amongst commercial and other departments for the planning and execution of product launch preparation, clinical data dissemination and commercial field training, product training, and new product development programs.
  • Lead voice of customer activities and manage advisory boards from strategic to tactical implementation, working with the field team to gather insights from the broader HCP community.
  • Lead interactions with thought leaders and Laborie’s advocacy partner (professional and patient organizations) including scientific collaborations, speaker training, and regional, national, and international conferences.
  • Identify, develop and maintain relationships with KOLs.
  • Provide medical and clinical support for any payor and/or regulator related needs across the portfolio.
  • Serve as the scientific and clinical knowledge expert for the OB BU products and related therapeutic areas to internal stakeholders, including product development, quality and regulatory teams.
  • Stay up to date on new data and developments in the field, and key publications of interest within the therapeutic and competitive landscape.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Clinical experience aligned with the product portfolio of the OB GBU.
  • Proven track record of Medical Affairs success in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
