Commercial Tire Technician - Grande Prairie, AB

Role Description

We are looking for dedicated Commercial Tire Technicians to join our commercial store. You will be responsible for providing exceptional tire services to our valued commercial customers. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will perform tire removal, installation, repair, balancing, and maintenance services for all passenger, light truck, and commercial vehicles and ensure their safety and satisfaction.

Hours:

  • Full - Time
  • 40 hours per week 
  • Monday- Saturday availability required

Job Responsibilities

  • Install and expertly balance tires on customer vehicles, ensuring their optimal performance.
  • Perform tire rotations to promote even wear and prolong tire life.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of tires, identifying and addressing any damage, bulges, or tread depth issues promptly.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of tire services performed, ensuring efficient tracking and customer communication.
  • Prioritize safety by strictly adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines, creating a secure working environment for all.

Job Requirements:

  • Passion for the automotive industry and a natural ability to solve problems on the spot.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to resolve problems on the spot.
  • Experience as tire technician (preferred but willing to train)
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, delivering high-quality services while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean abstract, ensuring safe and responsible driving habits.
  • Enjoy creating and building long-term customer relationships.
  • Physical agility is required for this role, including the ability to lift and handle 30-50 lb tires with ease.
  • Always be safety conscious, wear the required PPE, and follow safe work protocols as instructed.
