What We Do
 
Overview
The Customer Relations Team is a unified department that streamlines support for both internal and external clients. This team is responsible for managing business contracts, processing orders, handling billing, and serving as the single point of contact for all customer care needs. The Customer Relations – Sales Support role is integral to ensuring seamless contract management and responsive support, primarily for our sales teams. This position works closely with the Customer Relations teams to deliver accurate billing, maintain contract records, and facilitate efficient communication across departments, all while upholding the highest standards of service and operational excellence.
 
Responsibilities
  • Manage a high volume of incoming requests via the ticketing system.
  • Maintain contract records in the billing system, including:
    • Entry of new contracts
    • Updates and ongoing maintenance of existing contracts
    • Meter collection and data entry
    • Adding or removing devices and services
    • Processing billing contracts and managing billing changes
  • Ensure contracts comply with company standards and customer agreements.
  • Process billing for all maintenance contracts, reviewing invoices daily for accuracy.
  • Monitor and resolve missing meter; proactively obtain readings from customers when needed.
  • Assist customers with invoice inquiries, providing clear explanations of base charges, overages, and adjustments.
  • Prepare maintenance proposals and manage renewals, billing adjustments, or cancellations as required.
  • Address internal sales requests and concerns with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Deliver timely responses on assigned projects, tasks, and inquiries.
Things We Are Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree plus
  • Experience with e-automate or similar ERP/order management systems a plus
  • Confidence in Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Intermediate Mathematical skills.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with a professional demeanor
  • Strong listening skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to also work independently
  • Adaptability to changing processes and procedures
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Impact, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $50,000-$55,000.
