Impact is hiring a Digital Transformation Consultant to add to our Nationally ranked Best and Brightest Workplace!

The mDX Consultant acts as the subject matter expert for all Managed Digital Transformation (mDX) pre-sales engagements within a specific geographical region. Impact's Managed Digital Transformation department helps businesses improve operational efficiency, modernize core systems, and enable new business models by aligning business goals with a technology roadmap that will help them get there.

Our award-winning sales and implementation professionals customize solutions in the space of Line of Business applications, Content Management, Project Management, Business Process Automation, Collaboration, Custom Applications, and much more to help clients maximize their technology budget and minimize the risk of failed implementations. The mDX Consultant will work within a territory in conjunction with our team of Account Executives and Solution Architects to assess business workflows, identify operational inefficiencies, technical requirements, financial implications and propose customized technology roadmaps using our best-of-breed business application solutions and services.

Digital Innovation at Impact


  • Pre-Sales
    • Conduct prospective client first-call phone conferences and in-person meetings with assigned outside sales team to discuss Impact’s Managed Digital Transformation division and gather information around the business’ need for our services.
    • Lead and conduct the Business Transformation Assessment to explore existing business systems and identify challenges and opportunities that affect employee productivity within clients’ environment, and the financial implications associated in conjunction with the Solution Architecture team.
    • Review findings of in-depth Business Transformation Assessment with Solution Architects and team at large to create a strategy for technology roadmap and tactical projects, prioritizing the elements that will most efficiently deliver the highest number of benefits to present to prospective client.
    • Advise prospective clients on the benefits of working with our Business Applications Team through development, implementation, and support of the agreed upon strategic roadmap.
    • Assist in all pre-sales engagements as it pertains to Impact's Managed Digital Transformation department.
  • General
    • Own the Business Applications sales pipeline and associated quota assigned to respective branch(es).
    • Lead periodic training sessions with branch sales teams and support counterparts to further their professional development and bolster their ability to find qualified leads for Business Applications sales.
    • Work with sales team, sales management, and Solution Architects to coordinate all aspects of the client engagement, assessment, validation, and solution proposal processes.

Things We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years experiences in an outside sales role with an emphasis on consultative, solution selling.
  • Well versed in business processes, operations, and finance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving skills conducive to finding the right solution.
  • Experience conducting workshops, training, and consulting engagements.
  • Must be able to function independently in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Excellent presentation skills and comfortability doing so in front of C-level executives 
Valued Qualifications (not required)
  • Direct experience as a:
    • Business Development Specialist, Solutions Sales Representative, Software Consultant, Technical Consultant, Presales Specialist, Software Sales Engineer, Account Executive, Business Analyst, Sales Executive, etc.
  • Knowledge of a major line of business applications, Low-code Application Development, Business Process Automation, Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Business Intelligence, and Project Management software is a plus.
  • Experience with a Microsoft Partner organization.
  • Experience with a managed services provider.
