Responsibilities

Engineering and Provisioning

- Implement and maintain network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Plan, configure, and install network and computer equipment for new facilities.
- Ensure timely procurement, delivery, and configuration of hardware.
- Develop and document installation and configuration procedures.
- Contribute to system standards and recommend automated approaches for system administration.
- Configure remote monitoring software for optimal alerting.
- Collaborate with vendors and stay updated on Meraki products, recommending upgrades or enhancements

Operations and Support
- Manage and update project statuses regularly.
- Provide Tier III escalation support through the helpdesk and ticketing system.
- Perform daily system monitoring, ensuring the integrity and availability of all hardware and key processes.
- Repair and recover from hardware or software failures, coordinating with impacted parties.
- Resolve network-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.

Maintenance
- Secure the network system by establishing and enforcing policies.

- Maintain detailed documentation for operational and configuration procedures.
- Perform performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization.

Things We Are Looking For

- Experience as a Network Engineer, Network Administrator, Network Specialist, Network Analyst, IT Network Technician, or Network Support Engineer.
- Cisco CMNA, CMNO Certification, or higher preferred.
- Azure Network Engineer Certification or related Associate certification a plus.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.1x, QoS).
- Experience with Meraki switches and firewalls.
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring, diagnostics, and analytics tools.
- Practical knowledge of VLAN separation and routing techniques.
- Ability to analyze and optimize network performance.
- Organized cabling skills for efficient troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Azure connectivity services
