As the Production Manager for Collectibles, you will be a key member of the Mondo Collectibles Team producing high end collectibles such as 1/6 scale articulated figures, soft vinyl, and other figures. You will be responsible for managing the development of all Mondo Collectibles products, from design to prototyping, pricing, costing, development, and delivery to customers. You will support and partner with a team of experts in all these areas as you drive product development, budget, product costing, project schedule and quality of results.  
What You’ll Do  
  • Lead selection, on-boarding and on-going management of all factories utilized for Mondo Collectibles, ensuring that we are maximizing quality, schedule and budget, along with social and environmental compliance. 
  • Get quotes for all Collectibles orders and re-orders, managing total product cost to ensure profitability, including volume expectations over time, the amortization of tooling and product costs itself. 
  • Work with internal team to ensure POs are issued on time and are up to date with any changes, proofing the POs to confirm all details match product specifications. 
  • Manage production schedules to ensure that promised x-factory commitments and quality delivery standards are met; change factories when necessary if there are unacceptable delays or QC issues. 
  • Work with category lead to maintain and update the 18 -24 month look ahead for Collectibles line list.  
  • Lead interaction with Funko compliance team to ensure that Mondo Collectibles stay ahead of global changes in compliance environment. 
  • Manage sample availability for product photography and for pre-launch marketing efforts.  
  • Work with production and creative team to perform detailed factory sample reviews at every stage of production and provide photography of samples for licensing approvals. 
  • Work with creative and production team to manage overseas QC inspectors.  
 
What You’ll Bring
  • Passion for pop culture.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in high end collectibles product development.
  • Background in the design and production of high-end collectible product is essential.  
  • Proficiency with advanced features of Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Experience with project management and accounting software desirable, including FilemakerPro, Wrike, BaseCamp, Asana, and/or NAV.
  • Experience working directly with factories in Far East.
  • Experience administrating contracts and agreements desired.
  • Background in a creative environment and/or previous work with artists desirable.
  • Unparalleled organizational skills and unwavering attention to detail.

Salary Information 
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $73,600 - $92,000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
 
Please note this role requires 4 days onsite in our Burbank, CA office or San Diego, CA office.
