The Key Account Manager (KAM), Iberia will be responsible for the management of sales to existing Spanish and Portuguese based retailers and distributors within an assigned customer portfolio as well as opening new strategic accounts to support the future business growth. The KAM will coordinate marketing efforts, product launches and sales promotions with assigned retail partners to achieve sales and profit objectives.
 
What You’ll Do: 
  • Manage and develop additional business with a portfolio of existing Iberia based independent and multiple retail accounts, as well as developing business with new clients and / or identify areas of improvement to meet sales objectives.
  • Identify and grow opportunities and collaborate with Regional Business Development Manager, operations, logistics and finance to ensure the implementation, execution and growth of sales plans.
  • Focus on eCommerce and Marketplace business development.
  • Joint business planning.
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives of portfolio.
  • Lead point of contact for all matters specific to your accounts.
  • Build and maintain long lasting customer relationships in a challenging environment.
  • Forecasting activity to ensure appropriate inventory levels and recurring monthly revenue achievement.
  • Coordinate with Marketing team to plan new marketing initiatives on retail level activities.
  • Attend and support national events and trade shows as required.
  • Participate in ongoing training to learn about new and existing product lines and improve sales techniques.
  • Analyse sales progress on weekly / monthly basis and look for activations to uplift the sales plan. Proactively prepare reports weekly on account status for own accounts.
  • Endeavour at all times to action / respond within requested deadlines.
  • Attend in person meetings in the London HQ where necessary.
  • Identify new channels and onboard new selected and strategic customers.
 
What You’ll Bring:
  • Proven account management or other relevant experience, preferably within Toy, Entertainment or FMCG markets.
  • Fluency spoken & written in Spanish and English (Portuguese also advantageous but not essential).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Highly organized and efficient time management skills.
  • Ability to travel within Iberia.
  • Experience with ERP or CRM systems preferred (Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Power BI).
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite especially excellence in Excel. 
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, similar web or analytical tools.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and be able to move at an extremely fast pace.
  • Able to work cross-functionally whilst managing complexity and problem-solving.
  • Experienced sales professional who has an array of relationship building, negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to think out of the box with a hands-on mentality.
  • Team player ethic.
  • Used to handling confidential information and adhere to company values and policies.
