What You Will Do
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Full Stack Software Engineer with an excellent background in Azure to join our North American development team to take part in building Forescout’s next generation of security products through innovative and scalable applications in a cloud environment. If you want to write great code, help secure global networks, and have a desire to solve challenging problems then this role is for you!
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps, data scientists, QA and product management throughout the development cycle in an Agile environment.
- Research and draft design proposals for new solutions.
- Develop robust architecture strategies and design patterns to support scalable applications.
- Write and maintain clean, scalable, and maintainable code across the full stack, from database to front-end.
- Conduct peer code reviews and advocate best practices for software development.
- Investigate and resolve operational issues arising.
- Lead and mentor new hires and other developers on the team to foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
What You Bring To Forescout
Key Skills
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience writing code in Java for the backend with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, Java-based web services, and Spring Boot/MVC.
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud with familiarity with multiple services.
- 3+ years building SPA applications or frameworks with React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with remote teams.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines with experience with automation tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools such as JUnit, Mocha, Jest, Cypress, and Selenium for both unit and integration testing.
- Awareness of web security practices and how to implement security in application layers using both Azure security features and application-level safeguards.

- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, participating in scrums, and working effectively in a team setting.
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Openness to learning new technologies and frameworks as the project requirements change.
