We are looking for a bright, diligent, and enthusiastic individual who we can train up to be a competent AV Account Executive.


Reporting into the AV Senior Executive or Account Manager, The AV Account Executive role is to support the more senior members of the AV team in the day-to-day running of client campaigns. An eagerness to learn and understand the principles of the AV market is imperative, this includes TV, BVOD, cinema OOHTV.

Measures of success


In three months, you would have:

  •                    A good understanding of EssenceMediacom’s planning and buying tools and data points and be able use them effectively and buy campaigns successfully


In six months, you would have:

  • Developed strong AV buying skills and begin to understand the principles of planning


In 12 months, you would have:

  •                    Responsibility and autonomy to deliver great campaigns from start to finish with minimal involvement from your manager or AD.
  •                    Developed strong client relationships and attend external meetings without more senior AV presence
  •                    Have a good understanding of other media and the role of AV in the connected system



Responsibilities of the role

  • Accurate Campaign set up and activation
  • Preparation and sending out of weekly TV spot times to clients
  • Ensure best practice buying approach across all the accounts you work on
  • Regularly communicate campaign delivery within the internal account team
  • Generally support your Manager in any ad hoc client requests


What you will need

  • Strong communication skills – listening, written, verbal
  • Detail orientated with strong analytical skills
  • Highly numerate
  • Excellent organisation and problem solving
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines
  • Demonstrable interest in your clients’ businesses and their respective market
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both with colleagues and partners
  • A pro-active willingness to learn and develop professionally
  • Proficient use of powerpoint and excel is preferable
