Licensed Vocational Nurse - Soldier Readiness Center
Description
Opportunities for Licensed Vocational Nurses to support military readiness operations. Provide direct patient care and health assessments for service members preparing for deployment.
Daily Duties
- Obtain patient histories and conduct health screenings
- Administer Health Risk Appraisal questionnaires
- Perform vital signs and document findings
- Assist providers with examinations
- Carry out prescribed orders and document in medical records
- Prepare service members for physical examinations
- Respond to medical emergencies as needed
- Process 4-6 patients per hour
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Graduate of state-approved LVN/LPN program (CNEA or CCNE-accredited)
- License: Current LVN/LPN license (any U.S. state)
- Certification: Current BLS from AHA or American Red Cross (in-person only)
- Experience: 1+ year full-time LVN experience within last 2 years
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizen required
Position Features
- Location: Fort Bliss Soldier Readiness Processing Center
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 4:30 PM (variable)
- Patient Population: Active military, reservists, National Guard
