Job Overview
Join our team supporting military readiness at William Beaumont Army Medical Center's Soldier Readiness Processing Center. As a Physician, you'll provide critical medical examinations and clearances for service members preparing for deployment and demobilization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct medical examinations for active military, reservists, and National Guard personnel
  • Review deployment health assessments and medical histories
  • Provide diagnosis, treatment, and medical clearances for MOB/DEMOB processing
  • See 4-6 patients per hour in a fast-paced military environment
  • Document all patient encounters in MHS Genesis within 24 hours
  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as appropriate
Qualifications Required
  • Degree: MD or DO from AMA-accredited or AOA-approved institution
  • Board Certification: ABMS or AOA Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
  • Residency: ACGME-accredited program completion required
  • License: Current, unrestricted U.S. medical license (any state)
  • Certifications: Current BLS, DEA registration, NPI number
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year full-time physician experience in adult care within the last 2 years
  • Citizenship: Must be U.S. Citizen
Work Schedule
  • Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 4:30 PM (operational hours may vary)
  • 40 hours per week with potential for overtime
  • Federal holidays may be required
