Description

Supply Specialist needed to oversee medical logistics and inventory management for soldier readiness operations. Ensure adequate medical supplies and equipment for high-volume military medical processing.
 
Responsibilities
  • Oversee stock maintenance at prescribed levels
  • Establish and adjust stock levels and reorder points
  • Conduct physical inventories
  • Maintain inventory and property account records
  • Prepare and process requisitions for supplies and equipment
  • Search catalogs and data sources for stock numbers and authorized substitutes
  • Contact suppliers and transportation units to expedite deliveries
  • Process documentation for stock receipts
  • Maintain supply room and storage areas
  • Issue materials to staff
  • Keep local stock records
  • Prepare variance reports (actual vs. estimated costs)
  • Maintain accountability of accountable and durable equipment
  • Requisition, issue, and distribute office and medical supplies
  • Operate computer systems for inventory management
Required Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma/GED + minimum 1 year college or vocational training
  • BLS: Current certification
  • Experience: 1+ year inventory management as supply/warehouse manager within last 3 years
  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizen
