Highlights of the role

 

Join EPCOR’s Summer Intern Program and gain practical experience in Maintenance Reliability. This role will work on meaningful improvement projects, help develop and enhance processes, and apply computer and analytical skills to drive data-based decisions supporting operations and maintenance teams. Along the way, you’ll gain valuable field exposure, strengthen your safety awareness, and collaborate with maintenance and operations personnel.

Internship Dates: June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026

What you’ll be responsible for

 

  • Improve Maintenance Reliability KPI (Key Performance Indicator) reporting by updating metrics and coordinating with support teams to automate reporting through development of Power BI dashboard(s).
  • Assist with monthly Maintenance Reliability reporting for each division, through data analysis and collaboration with teams. Participate in the facilitation of those meetings by presenting findings through data analysis.
  • Assist with implementation of our Asset Management program, through the development of sub-processes, tools, and evaluations.
  • Participate in team meetings, gain exposure to business operations, and share progress on your assigned projects.

 

What’s required to be successful

 

  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of an engineering program. Mechanical or Industrial engineering is preferred.
  • Interest in working within an operational environment, supporting maintenance and reliability functions related to Asset Management.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
