About the role:
Enphase Energy is seeking a high-impact Distribution Account Manager (DAM) to drive growth across our channel partner ecosystem in the solar rooftop market. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with solar distributors, electrical wholesalers, and key channel partners who stock and sell Enphase’s industry-leading solutions—including IQ Microinverters, IQ Batteries, and the Enlighten platform.
As the commercial bridge between Enphase and our distribution network, you will play a critical role in accelerating sell-through, strengthening partner advocacy, and ensuring alignment with Enphase’s premium positioning in a highly competitive, price-sensitive market. This role requires a strong understanding of the solar value chain, channel dynamics, and the ability to influence both distributor and installer behaviour.
What you will do
- Own and expand relationships with distribution partners to increase sell-through of Enphase products across regions.
- Equip distributor sales teams with product knowledge, sales tools, co-marketing support, and training to effectively position Enphase solutions against string inverter alternatives.
- Collaborate closely with field sales and installer-facing teams to align demand generation with channel inventory and availability.
- Monitor and manage distributor inventory levels; track sell-in vs. sell-through metrics to optimize channel efficiency.
- Support pricing discipline, margin structures, and commercial negotiations in line with Enphase’s premium brand positioning.
- Plan and execute co-marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns, including those linked to government programs such as PM Surya Ghar.
- Gather insights on competitor activity, pricing trends, and installer preferences to inform channel strategy.
- Build strong partner loyalty and advocacy for Enphase technology differentiation, ensuring sustained engagement and business growth.
Who you are and what you bring:
- Bachelors / master’s degree in engineering or business management
- Proven experience in channel sales, distribution account management, or key account management—preferably in solar, electrical, or energy-related industries.
- Strong understanding of the rooftop solar ecosystem, including distributors, EPCs/installers, and end customers.
- Demonstrated ability to manage pricing, margins, and negotiations in a competitive environment.
- Skilled at tracking performance metrics (sell-in vs. sell-through), forecasting demand, and using data to drive decisions.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to build trust across partner organizations.
- Ability to understand and communicate the value proposition of advanced energy technologies and platforms.
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple accounts and stakeholders effectively.
