Your day-to-day at Egnyte:

  • Designing and maintaining deployment of product components into cloud with focus on automation (using Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm)
  • Designing monitoring and alerting for product features, to provide the highest level of service for customers
  • Collaborating and advising developers on designing application with cloud-native approach in mind
  • Ensuring that software and infrastructure components are up to date and free of any security vulnerabilities
  • Advise others as to how DevOps can make a positive impact on their work. In the process, you’ll meet fellow Egnyters from our offices in California and North Carolina
  • Knowledge sharing. We encourage our employees to share their experience via training or presentations

About you:

  • 2+ years of proven experience in a DevOps Engineer, System Administrator or Developer role, working on infrastructure or build processes
  • Good coding skills for writing automation solution (Python or other scripting languages)
  • Experience with public cloud services
  • Experience with metric-based monitoring solutions
  • Understanding of the Linux operating system on the administration level
  • Ability to choose and leverage cloud managed solutions
  • Practical experience with Kubernetes (preferably on production environments) is a plus
  • Drive to grow as a DevOps Engineer (we value open-mindedness and a can-do attitude)
  • Solid English skills to effectively communicate with other team members
