Billing and Payment Process Manager

Egnyte is seeking a manager to lead our billing and payments capabilities and ensure timely, accurate payment processing for our customers. We want to offer our customers recurring, usage & consolidated billing with various subscriptions, invoicing & payment terms which create exciting billings and payments challenges. The resource this to bring a scalable, standardized, solution-oriented mindset to this important role. The ideal candidate will bring indepth functional (process management) and subject matter (billing and payments) experience, as well as ideally a proven track record in organizations of varying sizes as we’re growing fast!

What You Will Do (but is not limited to)

  • Develop product strategy and roadmap for our billing and payments systems with a cross functional team of engineers, architects, accounts and accounting teams and customer support
  • With engineering and our analytics teams, ensure reliability and accuracy of our billing systems, and define monitoring features and process so that exceptions can be identified and addressed with limited customer impact
  • Drive flawless execution against plan, anticipating staffing needs, risks, and the need for frequent and clear communication internally and with customers
  • Great communicator who can find common ground across different types of stakeholders
  • Bonus: Technically savvy and experience with APIs, communications, enterprise software a plus.
  • Someone who thrives working through the hustle n bustle of day to day operations never losing sight of the long term vision
  • 5-10 years of experience as a manager in Billing or A/R.
  • History with acquisitions and integrating customers into existing billing platforms.
  • NetSuite, SFDC & Stripe experience highly preferred
  • Working experience and knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley internal control requirements .


Your Qualifications 

  • Deep experience in billing and payments process, policies, and third party systems including Netsuite, Salesforce & Stripe
  • Great track record of working with engineering, finance and design teams: people want to work with you again
  • Passion about the problem we are solving
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Keen attention to detail.
