Laborer - construction
Description
- Inspect construction debris trucks as they leave the job site to determine quantity of debris (Inspect, photograph and document the quantity of debris
- Visit construction sites to document quantity of work being performed on unit price construction contracts (such as SF of gypsum board, SF of floor and ceiling tile, etc.)
- In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position
- Apply basic knowledge of relevant principles and tools, as directed
- Apply standard protocol for work, as directed
- Communicate effectively by written and verbal means
- Perform multiple concurrent tasks and meet timelines, as directed
- Work well independently and as a team
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and work 12 hour days
- Ability to repetitively lift up to 40 pounds or 1/3 of your body weight
- Ability to work outside in a variety of weather conditions including inclement weather
- Education: High School diploma or GED is required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement.
- Must be able to pass background check, drug test, and obtain base pass.
- Experience working on construction projects
