About Your Role

As a Tech Commerce Editor, you will help build and manage the product review content library for Dotdash’s Commerce Team. You will work to create a comprehensive expert product review library written in a friendly and easy to understand voice.  You will bring our readers the high-quality product recommendations they’re searching for —connecting readers to the products they need.

Day-to-day, you will be responsible for commerce content execution, including sourcing freelance writers with product category expertise, assigning and editing new Commerce content to our network of top product reviewers, topline editing all content, collaborating with SEO on all elements of content quality, producing and publishing new content in our CMS, updating existing Commerce content, and tracking and analyzing the success of all editorial efforts.  

About Your Contributions 

  • Assign, edit and publish new Commerce content across Dotdash verticals, using competitor analysis, marketplace knowledge and internal data to back your editorial approach
  • Manage Commerce product reviewer contributor model, sourcing and on-boarding high-quality new writers as needed
  • Track and use performance data to adjust editorial strategy and programming efforts
About You
  • Product obsessed writer, editor, or producer, with 2-3 years experience developing online editorial content and adjusting strategy and tactics based on data.
  • You have good writing/editing ability and an instinctive feel for an authentic voice and how to make a reader take action  
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Good understanding of digital media traffic and conversion funnels
