Social Media Video Producer

Seeking a talented Social Media Video Producer to join our highly collaborative video team. Our ideal candidate has a background in social media and food production.
We are looking for a candidate with a proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders to create content that resonates with a national audience. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller, has a passion for the creative process and the ability to execute projects successfully and efficiently from start to finish.
This candidate should have superior knowledge of food content in the social space in the multi-platform media landscape and knows how to produce social videos.
Assignment Details:
40 hours per week
Start date: Mar 3, 2025
End date (with potential for extension): Mar 31, 2025
Hourly Rate: $45
Location: New York DDM Office
Assignment Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create engaging video content tailored for social media platforms.
- Develop and execute videos that align with brand goals and audience engagement.
- Manage relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure content consistency and impact.
- Stay ahead of social media trends, emerging formats, and viral content strategies.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and solve creative challenges with innovative solutions.
- Demonstrate initiative, the ability to work independently, and a collaborative, results-driven mindset.
- Directing and shooting video talent with an iPhone.
Skills/Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in social media, food media, and social video.
- Knowledge of lifestyle media with an interest in Food. Knowledge of culinary language and video food styling.
- All aspects of Social Media, including insights, trends, publishing, editing, and creating video content
