JOB SUMMARY
 
The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for all activities and staff within their designated warehouse function including, but not limited to, receiving, warehousing and distribution operations.  The Warehouse Supervisor will ensure productivity targets are achieved and all warehouse processes are running smoothly and with efficiency.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
·       Ensure warehouse operations in compliance with all applicable company policies, processes and vision as well as regulatory requirements
·       Setup warehouse layout to ensure efficient space utilization
·       Develop, coordinate and enforce applicable policies and processes
·       Maintain inventory controls utilizing company tools and resources
·       Identify and conduct training as needed
·       Ensure team obtains and maintains current job skills and certifications as required by role
·       Adheres to all safety precautions and follow all safety requirements to properly complete job tasks.
·       Performs other job-related duties as assigned. 
MANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
 
·       Typically reports to Management Direct Supervisor job title(s) Typically include: Regional Warehouse Manager
·       Job is directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g. hiring/termination and/pay decisions, performance management. Job title example(s) of employees directly supervised: Logistics Associate, Supply Inventory Coordinator, Receiving Clerk, Shipping Clerk, Packaging Clerk
JOB QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
 
·       Ability to effectively communicate, both in writing and verbally, across all levels of the organization as well as customers, vendors and suppliers in a clear and concise manner
·       Ability to adapt and lead change
·       Must be able to manage multiple priorities while meeting assigned deadlines
·       Must exercise strong decision making
·       Ability to use Microsoft office suite programs
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
 
 
·       Previous Warehouse experience required
·       Previous Leadership experience strongly preferred
·       Experience with an inventory management system strong preferred, eAutomate experience a plus  
WORKING CONDITIONS
 
·        Regular business hours. Some additional hours may be required.
·        Travel requirements: Domestic: Up to 5%
·        Climate controlled office environment during normal business hours.
