JOB SUMMARY

 

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for all activities and staff within the warehouse including, but not limited to, receiving, warehousing and distribution operations.  The Warehouse Manager will ensure productivity targets are achieved and all warehouse processes are running smoothly and with efficiency.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Strategically manage all warehouse operations in compliance with all applicable company policies, processes and vision as well as regulatory requirements
  • Setup warehouse layout to ensure efficient space utilization
  • Develop, coordinate and enforce applicable policies and processes
  • Maintain inventory controls utilizing company tools and resources
  • Ability to effectively set goals, and monitor and manage performance of team to meet company objectives
  • Identify and conduct training as needed
  • Ensure team obtains and maintains current job skills and certifications as required by role
  • Adheres to all safety precautions and follow all safety requirements to properly complete job tasks.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Ability to lead a team with solid strategic and tactical direction
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both in writing and verbally, across all levels of the organization as well as customers, vendors and suppliers in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to adapt and lead change
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities while meeting assigned deadlines
  • Must exercise strong decision making
  • Ability to use Microsoft office suite programs

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Previous Warehouse experience required
  • Previous Leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with an inventory management system strong preferred, eAutomate experience a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

  •  Regular business hours. Some additional hours may be required.
  • Travel requirements: Domestic: Up to 20%
  • Climate controlled office environment during normal business hours.
