What you will bring to the table:
- A high proficiency in the design of multiple HVAC system types such as VAV systems, DOAS systems, VRF systems and packaged RTU systems
- 10+ years’ of experience in Mechanical Engineering
- Expertise in delivering construction administration duties, including submittal review, feld inspections, RFIs and change requests when needed
- High proficiency in application of plumbing and mechanical building codes
- Strong understanding of digital temperature control systems, development of control strategies, drawings and sequence of operation
- Accredited Professional Degree in relevant engineering field, or equivalent qualifications
- Professional Engineering License in the State of Idaho or other states and be LEED certified
- A desire to expand the technical expertise of our team
- A passion for knowledge transfer, work sharing, and standards development
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent HVAC design skills and managerial skills to lead or potential to lead engineering group
As a Team Member at Cushing Terrell, you will…
- Have proficiency in a variety of software applications to include: Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office
- Be self motivated and passionate about providing excellent client service and high quality mechanical designs
- Have the ability to lead, collaborate, assign, mentor and direct a mechanical team of engineers and drafters to produce high quality construction documents
The majority of the time a person in this role will be sitting in an office with limited physical requirements. This may require individuals to bend, stretch, twist and reach. On occasion individuals will be required to visit a client site to perform site verifications and field surveys.
Compensation
The expected salary range for this position $105,000 to $130,000 is based on the location/s posted. If you are a candidate living outside of (this region/these regions), we still encourage you to apply as salary ranges may differ across states/cities/job markets.
Actual pay will be determined based on your years of experience, licensure status, location, level of proficiency, and other job-related factors (as permitted by law). The position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus.
