Position Summary:

Conair is seeking an entry level risk and insurance professional to join its Risk Management team. Our Risk Management Analyst must share Conair’s passion for service and display an unwavering commitment to excellence.  He or she must possess a professional demeanor characterized by integrity, good character, mutual respect, teamwork, and a continuous thirst to learn.

In this role you will learn how to create comprehensive insurance submissions to differentiate Conair’s risk profile from others.  You will engage with our brokers and underwriters to address coverage inquiries and will communicate with Conair offices around the globe to seek answers to specific questions involving their regions.  You will learn to manage, investigate, and settle consumer complaint claims utilizing internal and external resources.  Over time you will develop strong working relationships with brokers and underwriters as you build your own professional network.  Learning and applying your knowledge will be key to your success and professional growth’    

Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Director of Risk Management, you will learn and assist in performing all risk management functions and responsibilities including the following:

  • Identifying, quantifying, and managing the Company’s risk exposures
  • Procuring global risk transfer programs
  • Working with insurance company engineers to mitigate operational and physical hazards
  • Reporting, investigating, and managing all types of claims
  • Supporting internal stakeholders with their insurance needs
  • Participating at Safety Committee meetings
  • Performing and assisting with other risk management projects

  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint and Graphics
  • Self-motivated and self-directed with strong organizational skills

Essential Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree in Risk Management
  • Willingness to work towards an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation

Environmental Factors:

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (% if needed)
  • Must be Covid-19 vaccinated.
  • We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the office 50% of time.
