  • Support the strategic vision of the HBAC Division
    (hairbrushes, beauty tools, accessories & cosmetic bags)
  • Leader of the HBAC production team, support the creative director and creative team
  • Responsible for entire production workflow, delegation/direction, project management, and ensure all timelines are achieved
  • Ability to assess jobs, make quick decisions, and be solution and problem solving centric
  • Responsible for the conversion of all design files into press ready mechanicals and ensure the accuracy of the files and of the brand standards prior to release to Asia partners
  • Responsible for efficient and accurate files, extensive edits, and revisions, building comps and trend boards and planogram assets in a demanding deadline environment
  • Responsible for the accuracy of design files in the last stages of development, will direct a team of two production staff to accomplish all deadline driven project requests
  • Ability to manage and execute a super sku intensive division composed of 4 large categories
  • Ability to navigate/execute hundreds of packaging cards
    & box die strikes, in various sizes and shapes
  • Research, resource implement new technologies, process and systems that will help stretch and guide the production staff to quicker, more efficient solutions

  • Execute and produce line extensions and designs as directed by the Creative Director/Assistant CD/
    & Sr. Art Director or as specified in Marketing’s creative briefs and direction
  • Light retouching, image silos, and typesetting to
    assist the creative and brand teams with digital
    content asset creation
  • Be the link between production and design and work closely with the CD and Design Managers
  • Mentor, provide excellent leadership, inspire to stretch roles, push production team to greater heights
  • Work closely with Sampling Studio Manager
    (HBAC Comping/Multi-media Team) on projects and be able to give clear, articulate, accurate direction to activate the team and reach project goals efficiently
  • Work with in-house photographers and retouching team and be able to provide clear direction on digital assets
  • Extensive knowledge of working with complicated files using layers to call out finishes and printing techniques,
    5+ color jobs, and extensive use of images
  • Building 3D displays and planograms using available software for retail presentations
  • Review, with the production team, mechanical artwork prior to release
  • Knowledge of creating product renderings, and color conversions, in Photoshop
  • Work closely with Account Manager on timelines and brand standards
  • Stay current with new printing techniques and processes
  • Deliver printing options while respecting budgets
  • Provide additional creative support on special projects and presentations when needed
  • Collaborate and contribute to the creative process

Essential Qualifications:

  • Expert knowledge of Creative Suite
  • Strong production skills mandatory
  • 3D rendering software (Keyshot, BoxShot, Origami) a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree/BA or BFA, MFA a plus
  • Minimum 8+ years of related experience
  • Process oriented and showcasing leadership skills
  • Collaborate spirit and team player

Environmental Factors:

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (% if needed)
  • Must be Covid-19 vaccinated.
  • We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the office 50% of time.
