Position Summary:

This opportunity supports the Web Analytics function within the Digital and Creative Shared Services team at Conair servicing the Personal Care, HBAC, Pro, Cuisinart and Waring divisions. This team supports all digital initiatives across the enterprise as well as the creative resources supporting the divisional web merchandising.

The candidate will be working within a highly matrixed organization, interfacing with Marketing, Creative, Product Design, IT and Engineering teams to ensure data collection, triage, reporting and visualization are within agreed upon timelines for assigned projects.

 Primary roles and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Using a variety of tools to extract and analyze data generated by online user activity.
  • Reporting your findings with data visualizations that are easy to understand.
  • Communicating insights and creating visual story telling with PowerPoint / PDFs.
  • Understanding the behavior and expectations of online visitors
  • Attend and support project kickoff meetings as needed
  • Assist in developing, refining and visualizing visitor flows within Google Analytics

Core competencies are as follows:


  • Review various data sources and organize data streams into reports.
  • Identify patterns and trends in data to create reports or dashboards for various teams.
  • Understand user engagement with our digital catalog.
  • Research the user shopping experience and report on visitor journeys.
  • Test the purchasing experience to identify points of confusion.
  • Collate data and build reports
  • Monitor and build online dashboards
  • Analyze data and provide analysis
  • Use online tools to measure traffic and consumer behavior
  • Provide SEO support and optimization
  • Auditing digital marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Review search results and search enhancements with keyword tagging
  • Take on day-to-day executional business support
  • Assist in compiling business reports and or strategy decks
  • Provide assistance with ad hoc digital tasks which could include data collection, creative content uploads, and website quality checks.
  • Conduct and compile competitive market research decks.
  • Present key takeaways from internship to senior leaders at the end of the program.


  • Experience with Google Sheets and Google ecosystem
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Strong sense of urgency in a professional setting
  • Nice to have: Graphing & Visualization experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Passionate about digital innovations and data storytelling
  • An innovative thinker with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to differentiate between qualitative and quantitative data
  • Tech Savvy with proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

To Qualify/Apply:

  • You must be a current college student entering your junior or senior year in the fall of 2023
  • You must be in excellent academic standing
  • You have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • You are proficient with MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint

Environmental Factors:

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
  • Must be Covid-19 vaccinated.
  • We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the office 50% of time. Conair does not provide housing for summer interns.
