Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an Assistant Product Manager to work in our non-electric marketing department. This person will share in the responsibility of driving growth and generating revenue while partnering with various teams to deliver best-in-class new products.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in all aspects of product design and development from concept to shelf (research, item set up, preparing marketing materials, managing packaging artwork, running reports, etc.)
- Bring products to market utilizing market research, product research, product testing, pricing analysis, competitive analysis, and timeline management
- Regularly liaise with Engineering, Test Kitchen, Planning, Manufacturing, Operations, Creative and Sales
- Handle time sensitive responsibilities and communications in a timely and professional manner
- Set-up new product information in SAP, Salsify, and other systems
- Initiate, manage and track creative process to develop packaging and instructional materials
- Responsible for existing product line maintenance
- Collaborate with Asia remotely focusing on product maintenance and new product development
- Assist with general department assignments and trade-show preparation
- Contribute to the success of company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience
- Product Management and New Product Development experience preferred
- The ability to bring new and fresh thinking to help Cuisinart drive product growth
- Must possess strong analytical skills, be detailed-oriented and provide unprompted follow-through
- Must be accountable and organized with the ability to handle and prioritize a multitude of projects
- Strong oral and written communication and excellent computer skills
- Must be flexible, determined, a team player and possess a positive attitude
- Expert ability level in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, SAP a plus
Environmental Factors:
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
- Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (% if needed)
- Must be Covid-19 vaccinated.
- We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the office 50% of time.
