Position Summary:

The Digital Account Executive (DAE) will work with the Conair sales team to drive sales by developing digital strategies utilizing their knowledge and expertise of Target’s digital programs, teams, tools, and third-party vendors. The DAE will optimize the Conair digital business (all categories) and strategies at Target, in collaboration with the Conair NAM, Conair digital marketing team and The Stable AE. The DAE will build the strategy and lead execution within The Stable, and with Target’s digital teams and third-party vendors (Roundel, Criteo, Bazaar Voice, Soona, StoryXpress, etc). The DAE will have a comprehensive knowledge in building a best in class PDP, including product content and taxonomy. The candidate will drive metrics, such as Content Analytics, Digital Marketing spends and efficiency, and interact with Conair’s digital marketing teams and Target to drive the business. This job will drive the continued digital acumen and build & monitor metrics and dashboards to measure Conair’s success in the digital space.  

Responsibilities:

Digital Business Consulting

  1. Collaborate with the NAM’s to drive sales for our clients by utilizing the full suite of digital marketing opportunities with Target.
  2. Provide recommendations for TGT.com exclusive offerings, DVS assortment and digital decluttering
    1. Timing – align with line reviews + 6 months later (mid-season review/revision)
    2. Algin with NAM business goals & category priorities (profitability, productivity, etc)
    3. Facilitate meeting overview with NAM and follow up with sharable decks as needed
  3. Manage MAP First Offender report and track first offender as needed for Division 01 and 09. – does Conair have this report?
  4. Coordinate with department NAMs on new product launches and establish strong product pages to showcase product for consumers and drive sales.
  5. Educate NAMs and marketing teams on new strategies to optimize Target and elevate product with new and existing items – via outside platforms that expose products in other consumer search engines and shopping access.
  6. Evaluate other retailer’s websites for products and competitors to understand and compare Conair’s Target.com consumer facing product pages.  Especially Amazon and Walmart.com
    1. Quarterly prioritization with NAMs
    2. Deliver competitor analysis deck with focus on assortment & content gaps
    3. Provide ongoing tracker of businesses and when they will have an audit
  7. Overviews during Line Reviews as needed and requested by the NAMs.
    1. Provide Target.com metrics & insights
    2. Provide marketing and media metrics & insights
  8. Monthly Call with Conair Total Sales Team to review Monthly Digital Report
  9. Provide weekly sales reporting for all businesses
  10. Complete ad-hoc asks as it applies to digital business

Digital Media & Marketing

  1. Build digital strategies and lead execution for Conair to drive digital traffic & sales for Target.com
    1. Develop and maintain Target.com marketing and media planning grid
    2. Provide annual and quarterly marketing budget and planning recommendations
    3. Provide digital category landscapes, reviewing Conair & competitors search ranking trends, focused keywords and other trends (see #6 in Digital Business Consulting)
  2. Manage Roundel and over-see this process with NAMs and sales team members.
    1. Annual planning and campaign development
    2. Assist in brief writing
    3. Provide insights on media plans
    4. Assist in creative review
    5. Campaign recapping
  3. Analyze the ROI of marketing recommendations, driving incremental revenue while maximizing the digital marketing spend.
  4. TPA strategy and execution as needed
    1. Collaborate with CitrusAd for Cuisinart business

PDP Health & Content

  1. Drive best in class Content Analytics scorecards (90 or better) for all of Conair’s categories (includes Cuisinart and Travel), including SEO, etc.
    1. Biweekly review of scorecards for all businesses or as needed and requested by the NAMs.
    2. Leverage SEM Rush & SEO tools to maximize SEO
    3. Explore and uncover digital platforms to enhance the digital experience (i.e SEM Rush, Google Keyword, helium10, etc.)
    4. Key Analysis and follow up on images - 3 needed per item.
    5. Track Conair search rankings on Target.com for most relevant keywords
  2. Collaborate with Target’s 3rd party marketing partners to optimize digital opportunities.
    1. i.e. Roundel, TPA (Criteo/CitrusAd), Curalate, Circle, Bazaar Voice, StoryXpress
    2. Coordinate lifestyle images where appropriate with Soona Studios
    3. Coordinate photo shoots as needed to get images if Conair Corporation does not have.
  3. Respond to Target.com Guest’s Q&A questions.  Answering and researching the answer with NAM and Conair Marketing team.
  4. Make key adjustment recommendations to content, bullet points and videos as much as possible to each product page. Category account coordinator will handle update execution.
  5. Work with Conair and The Stable for review seeding projects and execute as needed

Team Member Traits

  1. Ability to present and interact with all levels of management at Conair Corporation and Target as this is a high visibility role for both companies.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A/B.S degree with 3-5 years’ experience with business processes and systems or equivalent work experience, specializing in digital and target.com site.
  • Target POL system expertise, including VIQ POS reporting, Item set up in IMN, PCN & Launchpad, AVP & POP forecasting. Expertise in Excel, Pivot Tables.
  • Ability to blend business knowledge and data to influence business partners to drive business changes to improve inventory accuracy, profitability and improved guest experience using solid data and expertise
  • Proven collaborator, works well with a team as well as on individual assignments
  • Proven ability to multitask and quickly reprioritize projects to meet aggressive deadlines based on company initiatives
  • Ability to be resilient and adaptable working through challenges
  • High level of initiative with the ability to work independently

Beneficial Qualifications:

  • Usage and analytics in Digital Social Media Platforms and Digital Marketing Sites.
  • Target Digital Roundel exposure preferred.
  • Ability to pull reports in from Target Site to Weekly and Monthly Digital Reports.

Environmental Factors:

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (% if needed)
