Position Summary:

QA TESTER INTERN:
In this exciting Internship, you will have the chance to expose usability and user experience issues throughout our different sites providing genuine feedback.

Your work will include:

  • Performing tests on selective Ecomm sites guided by the lead QA
  • Logging/reporting issues & enhancements into our issue tracking software

 By the end of the internship the QA intern will need to display the ability to:

  • Differentiate differences between functional and user experience issues.
  • Understand how user experience issues are just as important, if not more, than functional issues when the goals are sales and user retention.
  • Understand how to break a site down into different components/sections.
  • Understand how to write proper issues/enhancement that can be easily digested by developers.

 

To Qualify/Apply:

  • You must be a current college UNDERGRADUATE student entering your junior or senior year in the fall of 2023.
  • Must be in an IT or Digital Media/Design program at a college with preference given to those who have done web development at college.
  • You must be in excellent academic standing.
  • You have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • You are proficient with MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • This internship pays $20/hr. 

Environmental Factors:

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
  • Must be Covid-19 vaccinated.
  • Conair does not provide housing for summer interns.
