Position Summary:
Seeking an ambitious Sales Coordinator who is a self-starter and can thrive in a fast-paced setting with other high-performance professionals. This person will support accounts in the drug, mass, specialty and department store channels which could include accounts such as Walgreens, Meijer, Best Buy, Ulta and Kohls. In this support role you will interact with key account buyers and planners and attend sales meetings in the territory as needed. You will have direct oversight of Weekly POS reporting & analysis, Order Processing, New Item Creations, Demand Forecasting, Digital/Ecom PDP creation and assist with creating sales presentations.
Must be highly organized and proficient in Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint. 3-5 years of working in retail sales or buying preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Key function responsibilities include Sales Reporting (including data analytics), Order Processing, Customer Presentation, Trade Spend Tracking, Time & Action Calendars, Demand Forecasting and other Sales Support functions.
- Key skill sets include proficiency in (Microsoft Office) Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and ability to use proprietary in-house systems – SAP, and DOMO.
- Manage the sales sample process to include coordinating and partnering with the marketing/ product development team, to deliver the necessary samples.
- Assist with overall execution of key Sales programs including facilitating digital and social media assets and facilitation of customers website maintenance.
- Obtaining, interpreting, and utilizing available data (including but not limited to, Account POS (IRI/Retailer Specific), Syndicated Data (IRI/Nielsen), Shopper Insights, etc...).
- Contribute to the success of company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
· 3-5 years’ experience in a Sales or Buying
· Comfort and experience in a fast-paced environment
· Must have great attitude, teamwork skills, energy and the ability to overcome obstacles independently.
· Excellent project management and time management skills
· MS Office Suite. Preferred candidate possesses advanced skills in Excel & PowerPoint.
· Superior interpersonal skills: Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people
· Experience setting sales goals.
· Experience managing a broker network to help manage account base.
· Strong customer service, negotiation skills and ability to interact with customers at all levels throughout their organization.
· Strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
· Creative in brainstorming and proposing innovative ideas and solutions to existing problems.
Environmental Factors:
· Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
· Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
· Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
· Must be able to travel domestically (50%) and internationally for business (if needed).
· This is a remote position based out of the Midwest area.
