Are you passionate about the world of hair accessories and ready to drive innovation in this vibrant industry? We are looking for a dynamic Product Manager to join our HBA marketing department. In this role, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the growth and revenue generation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional new products in the hair accessories business.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize in-depth market research, product analysis, testing, pricing evaluation, and competitive research to uncover fresh opportunities for innovation within the hair accessories market.

  • Create innovative product concepts and develop comprehensive marketing strategies. This includes managing the entire product lifecycle, from sourcing and development to packaging creation and launch strategies.

  • Work closely with various departments, including Sales, Creative, Manufacturing, Operations, and Brand Management, to ensure the successful planning and execution of your product launches.

  • Take ownership of product development timelines, ensuring that every launch meets its targets and deadlines.

  • Collaborate with our Account Executive to initiate, manage, and track the creative process for packaging and online content development.

  • Establish and maintain productive collaborations with our Asian partners, both remotely and, when the opportunity arises, in person, focusing on product maintenance and new product development.

  • Skillfully negotiate product pricing with factories to achieve optimal margins.

  • Engage with domestic and overseas suppliers to design off-shelf display programs that captivate our customers.

  • Handle time-sensitive responsibilities and communications with professionalism and efficiency.

  • Travel to customer meetings and present our exciting new product lines.

  • Accurately set up new product information in SAP and diligently maintain data accuracy throughout the product life cycle.

  • Regularly evaluate our current product portfolio and identify opportunities for growth and rationalization.

  • Collaborate with our Consumer Insights team to compile and document research and competitive analysis for existing products and categories.

  • Monitor and analyze sales data for our existing product lines, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.

  • Contribute to the overall success of the company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.  Experience working with Amazon is a +++.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Product Management and a strong track record in New Product Development is highly desirable.
  • Bring a dynamic and innovative mindset to the table, playing a pivotal role in driving Cuisinart's product growth strategy.
  • Exhibit exceptional analytical skills, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to precision and delivering proactive follow-through on tasks and projects.
  • Display remarkable accountability and organizational prowess, adept at efficiently managing and prioritizing a diverse portfolio of projects.
  • Showcase exceptional oral and written communication skills, underpinned by a proficiency in various computer applications.
  • Embrace flexibility, determination, and a collaborative spirit as essential attributes, all while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Possess an expert command of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with experience in SAP considered a distinct advantage.
