Job Title: Kids Minister of Operations

Reports to: Kids Minister Leader

Objective

The Kids Minister of Operations is responsible for leading alongside the Kids team by equipping and developing serve staff to execute Eleven22 Kids service gatherings and partnering with parents to be the primary disciple-makers of their kids.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute weekend services alongside  campus staff
• Conduct general ministerial responsibilities alongside the campus staff to shepherd and care for the Eleven22 families
• Support in planning and executing Eleven22 Kids ministry events
• Lead serve staff teams to reset, stock and maintain excellence in the kids space
• Lead in the stewardship of campus resources through the day-to-day oversight of campus budget, inventory of supplies and other needs in the ministry area at San Pablo
• Lead alongside the Campus Minister of Operations at  to implement SOPs in the kids space
• Oversee systems for background checks, safety and security procedures,
•  training and care of serve staff
• Oversee metrics and analytics for Eleven22 Kids Ministry 
• Oversee weekend serve staff schedule
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience working with children in multiple settings

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Days and hours would be based on the needs and events at the church, but will usually be a Sunday-Thursday schedule.

The church has several big events, (“All-Skates”) throughout the year to help further the mission of Eleven22. These events are mandatory for all staff to be in attendance and may vary, depending on the vision cast for the current year.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

This role would require long periods of being on your feet and walking. As well as occasional times where light lifting would be required.

Ministerial Exception

The ministerial exception furthers the purposes of the Free Exercise and Establishment Clauses of the First Amendment by barring legal claims against church bodies by staff members who perform religious functions. All church pastors are subject to the exception, but a formal ministerial credential is not required. While there is no rigid formula to determine other church staff members that qualify, various factors are considered to determine which staff members are subject to the ministerial exception (please see handbook).
