Job Title: Multisite Operations Associate

Ministry/Department: Operations

Reports to: Multisite Operations Director

Status: Full-time, non-exempt

Supervisory Role: No

Objective

The Multisite Operations Associate will support, resource and partner with the campus Minister of Operations (OM) at assigned campuses in operational responsibilities. This role will act as a central contact and support provider for all operations ministries (Daily Operations, Facilities, IT, Safety and Security and Hospitality).

Key Responsibilities

Campus Operations

  • Support the overall operations of assigned campuses in partnership with the OM
  • Support campus documentation, central communications, feedback processes and vendor relationships
  • Partner with the OM to build and develop Operations serve teams
  • Oversee serve staff recruitment, training standards and team development for Nehemiah, Hospitality, IT, Operations and Facilities Ministry serve teams
  • Support facilities, events and campus improvement projects

Events

  • Organize operational logistics for key momentum events (Easter, Beach Baptism, Saturated and Christmas) including parking, overflow and baptism support

Serve Staff

  • Manage a dedicated serve team to support campus launches, improvements and special events

Special Projects

  • Support capital projects by securing vendor quotes and serving as the onsite contact during execution
  • Support oversight of campus assets and facility needs
  • Support the OM in organizing serve days and operational initiatives
  • Support campus launches and resource future OMs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • One year of ministry experience preferred
  • Two years of experience in operations 
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three to five years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Building maintenance, vendor relationships and other facilities-related tasks
    • Overseeing and supporting capital improvement projects
    • Facilitating large-scale events with complex logistical requirements

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Work Hours Expectations: 40 hours or more.

Schedule Expectations: General days and hours of work are Sundays from 8am-2pm and Monday through Thursday, 9am-5pm. Hours of work can vary depending on church needs.

The church has several big events, (“All-Skates”) throughout the year to help further the mission of Eleven22. These events are mandatory for all staff to be in attendance and may vary, depending on the vision cast for the current year.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

This role operates in a professional, fast-paced work environment and routinely uses standard office equipment, as well as forklifts and other machinery. The position requires a proactive, self-motivated approach to support daily operations and includes travel between campuses and central office. Physical demands are moderate and may include lifting items up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, climbing ladders or roofs and using tools as needed. Some travel is required.

Ministerial Exception

The ministerial exception furthers the purposes of the Free Exercise and Establishment Clauses of the First Amendment by barring legal claims against church bodies by staff members who perform religious functions. All church pastors are subject to the exception, but a formal ministerial credential is not required. While there is no rigid formula to determine other church staff members that qualify, various factors are considered to determine which staff members are subject to the ministerial exception (please see handbook).
