The global market for mobile robotics is expected to exceed $224 billion by 2030, according to global technology market advisory firm ABI Research. OTTO Motors is at the center of this enormous market growth fueled by a changing workforce and the growing need for business continuity within the supply chain.

The Product Marketing Manager is a critical team member and is responsible for internally and externally communicating OTTO Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) value proposition, product-market fit, and competitive positioning. As a key partner with product management, marketing, and sales teams, the Product Marketing Manager is the point person who develops and refines product positioning and implements the product marketing plan across internal and external vehicles.  With a passion for understanding the voice of the customer and translating product features to customer benefits, the candidate will help drive OTTO’s market leadership position.  The ideal candidate will have a background in Industry 4.0 areas like Automation and Robotics, in addition to emerging automation trends for material handling in manufacturing and 3PL segments.

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Collaborate with product management and marketing communications to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target buyer personas. Develop associated tools and supporting collateral to enable sales and marketing teams.
  • Prime the launch of new products and updates to existing products through our customer-facing channels, including managing the cross-functional implementation of the launch plan.
  • Lead development of marketing plans for OTTO Motors’ products with cross-functional teams for both new and existing products, from strategy to tactical initiatives. Manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
  • Document, measure, and optimize the buyer journey linking discovery through to the ‘why’ behind the purchase and beyond. Drive subsequent enhancements through our marketing and sales messaging and engagement.
  • Support the development of product messaging content such as case studies, videos, website copy, and blog posts
  • Create internal and customer-facing competitive positioning

You come ready with:

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, B2B technology marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in a product marketing capacity developing marketing plans and customer value proposition messaging supporting both new and existing products
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority, in particular, influencing and working collaboratively with sales, marketing, and product management
  • Experience working in fast-paced technology companies with demonstrated experience launching products and services, scale-ups preferred
  • Proven expertise simplifying complex information and clearly and concisely communicating information verbally and in print
  • Product marketing background in B2B technology solutions, ideally in Industry 4.0 topics
  • Experience with OTTO Motors’ target market and customer base - manufacturers and 3PLs, including an understanding of what happens in factories, warehouses, and distribution centers.
