Position Overview
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for providing various audits and data related to the inventory in the Logistics Centers (LC).  Other processes within inventory such as count backs, cycle counts, and reporting, both internally and to the customer.
 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs cycle counts and audits (aisle, inbound and/or outbound), and identifies and corrects inventory discrepancies.
  • Looks into recurring issues to help determine root cause
  • Properly handle inventory on varying status levels
  • Ability to operate a forklift to complete inventory counts and other various tasks.
  • Assists with the tracking of recoup
  • Execute quality hold process
  • Perform all duties as assigned
  • Perform all duties in a safe and timely manner
  • Support safety committee activities
  • Ability to properly handle inventory on varying status levels
Job Qualifications - Required: 
  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent required.
  • PC Experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Previous AS400 and/or warehouse management systems (WMS) experience preferred
  • Basic math and reading skills necessary
  • Detailed oriented with the ability to perform multiple task in fast moving environment
  • Ability to follow oral and/or written instruction.
  • Critical Thinking
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with internal and external customers.
  • Manual dexterity for data entry, stooping, standing, good listening skills and speaking ability; ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
