Human Resources Compensation Analyst

Position Overview:     

The Compensation Analyst is responsible for implementing, analyzing, and administering the Company's compensation and incentive programs. This includes conducting external market analyses, internal analyses, making recommendations, and participating in salary surveys.      
     
Essential Duties & Responsibilities     
    
  • Analyze, design, and administer compensation programs, including base pay and incentive plans that align with our company’s recruiting, retention, and employee engagement objective 
  • Provide guidance and consultation to management on making effective pay decisions that align with our company objectives and that comply with our compensation policy and budgetary guidelines
  • Develop reports to evaluate compensation programs, using metrics such as dashboard analytics
  • Participates in market and salary surveys to ensure compensation and benefits programs are benchmarked against best practices, researched against industry and employment trends, and compliant with legislation
  • Conduct research and analysis on market competitiveness, pay equity, and compensation trends to provide recommendations on updating multiple salary structures or incentive plans
  • Evaluate jobs and develop and maintain job descriptions and job architecture
  • Oversee the salary adjustments, promotions, and merit processes including but not limited to timelines and management approvals
  • Perform other job duties and special projects as needed
  •  Additional duties as assigned
     
Requirements and Qualifications     
    
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
  • Must have 2+ years of human resources compensation experience only
  • Ability to monitor, audit, and analyze large data sets to identify issues and structure effective solution
  • Demonstrated learning agility, resourcefulness, and the ability to gain skills quickly to allow independent work with minimal supervision quickly
  • Effective planning and priority setting
  • Strong analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of plan designs
  • Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated sense-of-urgency and follow-up
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • High level of discretion to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Strong excel skills
