    Are you detail-oriented, reliable, and ready to make a difference behind the scenes? We are currently seeking a Junior Freight Forwarding Coordinator to support our growing team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in international logistics and supply chain management
    • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
    • Pay Range: $20-$22/hour

    What You’ll Do:

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities
    • Coordinate with shippers, bonded warehouses, truckers and all other functional means as required
    • Assist with customer communication, including shipment status updates and handling basic inquiries
    • Provide support in preparing shipping documents (CI/PL, MAWB, etc.) and data entry in our freight forwarding system
    • Track and trace shipments (air, ocean, and domestic) and escalate issues to senior team members as needed
    • Help arrange trucking and delivery appointments for shipments, including Amazon-related cargo
    • Monitor, track, and trace the status of incoming ocean freight, air cargo, and domestic shipments to ensure timely delivery
    • Assist with uploading Costs and Revenues in the WMS system and preparing customer invoices
    • Request AP team for various COD payments of duties, taxes, and transportation of imported goods and bonds to cover duty goods
     
     
     
     
    Requirements and Qualifications
    • Education: Diploma, degree, or coursework in International Trade, Transportation, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
    • Experience:  Min. 1 year of relevant experience (internship, co-op, or entry-level exposure in logistics/transportation is an asset)
    • MS Excel proficiency necessary
    • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Experience in international freight forwarding coordination and documentation is MUST (Ocean or Air)
    • Ability to persuade and influence others
    • Self-motivated, positive attitude and ambitious
    • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong team player
