District Sales Manager
Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders. Will recommend products to customers based on the customers’ needs and interests. Must have knowledge of the principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products.
- Provide estimates or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
- Will answer customers’ questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms. Will effectively articulate the value and quality of Chief Agri’s products and consult with dealers after sales or contract signings to provide ongoing support.
- Perform administrative duties such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense reports.
- Requires frequent travel throughout the assigned territory and a valid driver’s license.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
- High School Diploma or the equivalent required.
- Post-secondary education focused on sales preferred.
- Knowledge of and experience in Agricultural business strongly desired.
- Previous sales experience (three to five years minimum) strongly preferred.
- Established relationships with potential dealers and/or experience working with a dealer network desirable.
