What You'll Do:

The Lot Closing Specialist assists the Corporate Land Acquisition team with all aspects of lot closings, data management, new deal set up, calendar management, and reporting.  This position will work with other Corporate Land team members and will report to the Corporate Vice President of Land. 

The ideal candidate is highly organized, understands real estate transactions, and is comfortable managing data and data input, as well as has exceptional communication skills. 

Essential Duties:

  • Assist in processing lot closings each week, gathering data from internal and external sources needed to close, and helping ensure accuracy of all documentation.
  • Help update different reports each week.
  • Assist in new deal set up, which includes understanding of new contracts, key dates, and basic contractual/legal language.
  • Assist in preparing acquisition forecasts. 
  • Assist Land Acquisition leadership with ad hoc projects as needed.

What You'll Have:

  • Must be highly organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to set, track, and meet timelines consistently
  • Must be skilled in basic Excel, with strong Excel skills a bonus
  • Must be self-motivated and organized
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task required
  • High level of communication. Assignment requires coordination across geographies and organizational levels. High level of organization is a must.
  • 3-7 years of experience in real estate and real estate contracts and closings
  • Proactively problem solve. Analyze the remaining challenges and overcome/resolve/conclude on next steps.
  • Familiarity with Title, Liens, HOA and HOA docs
  • Role will sit in CMP office in Alpharetta, GA
