What you'll be doing:
- Operating and managing Rubrik hardware to ensure reliable data backup and recovery solutions.
- Building and implementing data configurations and architectural solutions.
- Maintaining and upgrading large-scale data systems and hardware environments.
- Monitoring and analyzing system performance to identify and resolve capacity or integrity issues.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for data-related incidents.
- Collaborating with engineering teams to provide guidance and consultation for new data projects.
- Automating routine tasks and managing deployments across the environment.
- Establishing and following documentation standards and security protocols for data assets.
- Supporting high-availability strategies and business continuity plans for critical data systems with a focus on backup verification and audit readiness.
- Additional preferred experience includes familiarity with these technologies SFTP, Control M, REST API, Dell Storage, and NetApp.
What we're looking for:
- Experience managing enterprise-level hardware and storage solutions, specifically Rubrik.
- Familiarity with AWS and its ecosystem of cloud services for data management.
- Ability to design, build, and deploy data architectures at scale.
- Experience with automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
- A solid understanding of data security management, including encryption and access controls.
- Proficiency in system performance tuning and capacity planning.
- Ability to coordinate technical projects from initial design through to implementation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical teams.
