Manager - Project Services
Description
- Supervise and mentor a team of project managers, analysts and application administrators, fostering a culture of professional growth and high performance.
- Oversee the administration and support of work management applications, ensuring optimal functionality and user satisfaction across the organization.
- Lead and execute process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing organizational productivity.
- Lead the strategy around incorporating PMO processes into work management applications, providing thought leadership and leading the implementation of identified changes.
- Handle application contract negotiations, licensing agreements, purchase orders, and invoicing to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage the department’s SaaS budget, ensuring responsible allocation of resources and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Oversee coordination and dissemination of process and application communications to ensure clarity and alignment among stakeholders and end-users.
- Develop and deliver performance metrics and portfolio reports, providing actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.
- Create and maintain operational documentation and artifacts to promote transparency and support successful project delivery.
- Bachelor’s Degree, or combination of 8+ years of combined experience in project/program management or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated ability to improve Project Management function and effectiveness by identifying opportunities and implementing process improvements
- Hands-on experience and comfort with managing multiple complex projects concurrently
- Proven ability to successfully lead project teams of 10+ people across multiple locations
- Proven history of promoting sound and proven project management practices including the delivery of projects using an agile methodology
- Proficient with project management tools such as Confluence and Jira, and excellent command of MS Office Suite
- Experience handling contract negotiations with SaaS providers preferred
- PMI certifications including PMP, PMI-ACP, and Scrum Alliance certifications such as CSPO or CSM are strongly preferred
