The Cloud-to-Cloud Backup team is looking for a Software Engineer to join our Data Protection Team. You'll be part of the team building the next generation of our Cloud-to-Cloud Backup product, which serves to protect our customers’ data in SaaS applications, such as Microsoft 365, against accidental or malicious data loss, for purposes of backup, compliance, and disaster recovery.

What you'll be working on
- Participate in the design, development, and implementation of software solutions using Azure cloud technologies, C#, and DevOps practices.
- Develop new microservices for interacting with different types of data from cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365, Azure, etc.
- Find and fix bugs in production and development environments
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and design sessions.
- Work closely with peers, product managers and QA team to deliver features.
- Thoughtfully give, and gracefully receive, rigorous code reviews
- On-call rotation for the services your team is responsible for.
- Document and communicate research and results
What you bring to the role
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on software development experience in C#/.NET.
- Experience in Azure cloud technologies, including Azure App Services, Azure Storage and Azure DevOps.
- Strong experience in C# programming and .NET framework.
- Experience building and using Docker containers
- Proficiency in using Git.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
- Proficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, including root cause analysis
- Curiosity and drive to learn and investigate unfamiliar systems
- Enthusiasm and willingness to communicate via video-conferencing and text-based chat
