We are seeking a passionate and hardworking (SDET) Software Senior Development Engineer in Test who can join our cross functional Agile team. You will have the opportunity to work on innovative cloud security products that help protect our customers’ sensitive information. You will partner closely with Product and Development teams to understand and implement critical quality standards. Your contributions will help our team quickly deliver reliable and effective products to our customers.
Tech Stack:
Email Technologies, Python / Perl, Rest API’s, Postman, Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Docker, Jira, Xray, MySQL/PostGres, AWS, GitHub, Github Actions, Jenkins, Linux Commands and shell scripting.
What you’ll be working on
- Build manual and automated test plans from business requirements.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites for functional and non-functional cases using industry-standard tools.
- Design and implement test automation strategies for backend microservices.
- Work with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure software quality.
- Plan release timelines, manage work breakdowns, and oversee QA CI/CD pipelines.
- Assess requirements and provide feedback to product management.
- Write code snippets and validate API endpoints.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Lead troubleshooting in QA environments.
- Demonstrate expertise in external product integrations and dependencies.
- Identify, document, and collaborate on defect resolution with development teams.
What you bring to the role:
- Over 8 years’ experience in software development, testing, and automation
- Proficient in Python and Perl, with strong design and analytical abilities
- Skilled in full project testing life cycle, including test case creation, scripting, manual and automated testing
- Experienced in manual and performance testing, log analysis, reporting, and regular progress updates
- Automation expertise with Selenium WebDriver, Postman, Playwright
- Advanced knowledge of Agile, CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, and GitHub Actions
- AWS experience, including cloud infrastructure and services
- Effective collaborator with clear communication in fast-paced environments
