Roles and Responsibilities:

 Provide technical leadership in the secure development, design, deployment, management, and configuration of new software applications. The ability to conduct static and dynamic analysis of source code, assess the implementation of role based access controls of the application and its ability to produce granular logging. Troubleshoot complex technical problems involving a wide range of Cyber Security technologies in use against sophisticated threats. Provide guidance to other developers, IT engineers and managers on secure development technologies. Develops requirements for technical capabilities for cyber security technologies needed to defend a large geographically dispersed enterprise. Recommends configuration and architectural changes to improve the performance, usability, and value of cyber security and analysis tools Ensures technology employed by the Cyber Security Operations Center compliments operational processes

Minimum Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

·      Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience required

·      Minimum 3 years IT experience with three or more years of practical experience in a secure development role

·      Strong cryptography capabilities to safeguard data

·      Automation enablement to reduce testing workloads

·      Collaboration on product conceptualization for security by design

·      Rapid decision-making to prevent delayed releases due to security issues

·      Outside-the-box thinking to anticipate possible threats

·      Advanced knowledge and experience with Windows, Unix and Linux operating systems and common applications

·      Advanced knowledge of the following:

o  information systems security concepts and technologies;

o  network architecture and tools;

o  general database concepts;

o  hardware and software troubleshooting;

Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

·      Certified Application Security Engineer – CASE | EC-Council

·      Certificate programs in relevant areas

·      Programming experience in any or all of the following languages: C, C++, HTML, PERL, JavaScript, SQL, Assembly, other scripting languages.
