Avaap is seeking a talented Workday Adaptive Principal Consultant to join our growing team of experts and deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities Include
• Provide expert advice on best practices and configure Workday Spend modules to meet client needs

• Lead the implementation of Workday Adaptive Planning solutions for our clients
• Configure Workday Adaptive Planning modules to meet client needs
• Provide expert advice on best practices for Workday Adaptive Planning
• Conduct workshops and provide training to clients on Workday Adaptive Planning functionality
• Lead testing and deployment efforts
• Collaborate with other Workday consultants to ensure successful project delivery
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Workday Adaptive Planning releases and functionality
• Mentor junior consultants on best practices for Workday Adaptive Planning

Desired Experience and Skills
• Workday Certification and hands-on experience in one or more FIN modules, 
Experience leading Workday Adaptive Planning implementations
• Proven track record of transforming business requirements into complex system configurations
• Demonstrated understanding of Higher Education, Government, Healthcare, NFP, and/or Commercial industry knowledge as well as best practices, strongly preferred
• Demonstrated experience as a senior resource gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to-be business process designs, Workday configuration, and testing
• Ability to manage work, lead a workstream, and mentor junior team members
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Able to come up with improvements in tools and/or processes to help the practice
• Develop project strategies and plans, and identify the methods and tools required for the project
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills

Pay Transparency
Compensation for roles at Avaap varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific business unit, team, role, skillset, and level of experience. As required by law, Avaap provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired.
• Base Salary Range is $135,000 to $175,000 plus 20% variable compensation is available for this specific role. At Avaap it is not typical to be hired at the top of the base salary range.
*During the interview process, alignment to level will be determined and should level differ from position applied for, a new compensation range will be provided for the appropriate role.

Minimum Qualifications
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively
• Must be able to perform work indoors and remain stationary at a computer 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
• Passion for exceptional customer service and collaboration
• Ability to work remotely or out of one of Avaap’s physical office locations
• Current permanent U.S. work authorization required
