Client Partner - Government (West)
Description
- Own and manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring high satisfaction, long-term engagement, and referenceability.
- Serve as executive sponsor for all work delivered to your clients—closely informed, ultimately accountable, but not embedded in day-to-day delivery.
- Build and nurture trusted relationships with C-level and senior stakeholders, understanding their strategic objectives, business challenges, and future goals.
- Monitor all active and planned work within client accounts, identifying risks, dependencies, and growth opportunities.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and advancing new opportunities—implementations, upgrades, extensions, and advisory services.
- Create and execute strategic account plans and roadmaps, aligning Avaap’s solutions with client priorities.
- Oversee portfolio P&L, ensuring profitability, budget adherence, and healthy project margins.
- Partner with Sales to support renewals, expansions, and new proposals, including Statement of Work (SOW) formulation and negotiation support.
- Review and approve change orders and extension requests to ensure value alignment and strategic consistency.
- Maintain deep knowledge of Avaap’s offerings and stay current on industry trends to provide forward-looking advice and solutions.
- Mentor and support project team members in building strong client relationships and driving delivery excellence.
- Support and ensure adherence to Avaap’s methodologies, best practices, and internal processes across your portfolio.
Prior experience in managing large ERP (ideally Workday) or cross-application implementations is a plus
Strong knowledge of, or work experience in State & Local government is a must
Demonstrated experience in client relationship management, consulting, or strategic account leadership.
Proven success managing executive-level relationships and driving growth within enterprise accounts.
Strong understanding of consulting delivery models, including implementations, managed services, and advisory offerings.
Demonstrated ability to manage project revenue and margin, influence project strategy, and drive cross-functional alignment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Understanding of how to collaborate and balance client strategy with delivery execution.
Primary location in PST or CST strongly preferred.
Pay Transparency
Compensation for roles at Avaap varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific business unit, team, role, skillset, and level of experience. As required by law, Avaap provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired.
• Base Salary Range is $180,000 to $210,000 plus 30% variable compensation is available for this specific role. At Avaap it is not typical to be hired at the top of the base salary range.
*During the interview process, alignment to level will be determined and should level differ from position applied for, a new compensation range will be provided for the appropriate role.
